Terrunyo receives great support from critics during 2020
There is no doubt that Terrunyo had an incredible 2020. It had a 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon highlighted in specialized media, a 2020 Sauvignon Blanc praised as Casablanca’s best wine, and a 2018 Carmenere included in James Suckling’s Chile’s top 100 wines.
Terrunyo, Concha y Toro’s first Ultra-Premium Multi-Origin brand, seeks to ensure that each wine reflects its terroir’s particular characteristics so that the grapevine expresses itself to its full potential. Thus, highlighting the noble work done in the vineyard, Terrunyo is a limited production line where wines are made with the utmost dedication.
During all this 2020, Terrunyo had a great reception by specialized critics, obtaining outstanding scores in each one of its varieties. Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc with the 2020 vintage received 97 points in Descorchados 2021 and praised as the Best Sauvignon Blanc and Best Casablanca wine. On the other hand, Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 obtained 93 points in Robert Parker, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine & Spirits, where it also stood out as Best Maipo Red.
Terrunyo Carmenere 2019 received 94 points from James Suckling and was ranked 53rd in Chile’s 2020 Top 100 wines. It also received 93 points from prominent international journalist Robert Parker. Finally, Terrunyo Malbec 2016, received 92 points from American critic James Suckling.
