Gravas holds online wine tasting with El Mercurio

Isabel gave a presentation of the Gravas brand: how it came about in 2005 when Concha y Toro winemaker, Enrique Tirado, was asked to produce a high-end Syrah that would express all the finesse and elegance of the variety, and how the brand continued to expand under the spirit of seeking out the best terroirs in Chile to produce high-quality wines. So it is that today the Gravas portfolio has 3 varieties: A Syrah from the Quinta de Maipo vineyard influenced by the Maipo River, a Cabernet Sauvignon made with grapes from the Puente Alto terroir, and a Sauvignon Blanc from the Quiltralman vineyard along the southern bank of the Bio-Bio river.
The presentation was followed by a tasting of the brand’s 3 varieties: Syrah 2017, Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 and Sauvignon Blanc 2019.
